Keep your Dog Cool this Summer

I just wanted to post a few tips to keep your dog cool this summer. We don't realize how hot our pets can become.

• Always provide fresh water. We take a couple bottles of water on our walk, even the short ones. We also carry along a collapsible bowl.
• Walk early in the morning or later in the evening when the temperatures have come down a little. Our dogs like to take their naps during the day anyway.
• Walk in the shade and on grass to avoid the hot concrete. Don't wanna hurt your pups feet.
• Don't ever leave your dog in a hot car. The temperatures in a hot car can cause injury and or death.

• You can also purchase a cool coat or similar to help keep him cool.
